Throughout this site you'll find many words and terms which appear unfamiliar - at least to the novice. Here is where you'll find an explanation of those words and terms.

Understanding these technical terms helps to further your understanding of how and why your instrument works (or fails) and in the event that you're tempted to take a screwdriver to your instrument these simple explanations should ensure that you don't make too many mistakes...or at least know when to admit defeat and call in a professional.
